System Upgrades
The aeration system is the heart of your wastewater treatment system. Proper aeration is required for both proper treatment plant performance and operational efficiency. Analysis of wastewater treatment plant costs repeatedly shows that aeration accounts for 50 to 80% of the overall plant operating budget.
If your plant is operating an aeration system and one or more of the following conditions applies, it may be time to upgrade your aeration system.
- Operating costs keep on increasing
- Need more aeration to maintain process performance
- Residual DO levels are decreasing or are too low
- Back pressure at the blowers is increasing
- Diffusers are more than 5 years old or require excessive maintenance
